Who We Are

OAG was formed in 2011, but has its origins in the risk and insurance industry dating back to the 1990s. Originally, the company focussed on Asian emerging market risk, but expanded to cover the Middle East and North African markets in and around the time of the ‘Arab Spring’. Since then, the Middle East has become a key market for OAG, where the complex political and security situation continues to present risk to private investments in the region.

OAG’s founder and Director is Rhodri Richards. Rhodri has worked extensively for private sector consultancies in Asia and the Middle East and served in the British Army. He graduated from Cambridge University in Economics.
